U7 TOURING ADVENTURE
Pittwater Rugby Club came to fruition in 2010. Starting with only 1 team. We began to build a club without expectations; of having to be the best, having to experiencing the pressure of grading, and many more unreasonable expectations placed on kids today.
We value great sportsmanship and, giving everyone the chance to be part of a community where they feel like they belong. We seek to provide every opportunity possible for everyone in our community to participate in a healthy, safe and fun family environment, and our President and Founder of Pittwater Rugby Club, David Hawkins has been helping kids for over 45 years.
David is also heavily immersed in Youth Off the Street with Fr. Chris Riley, who now assists over 100,000 kids across Australia and his focus continues to give us direction and purpose to keep our spotlight on the kids. Our club not only believes, but gives everyone the opportunity to play a team sport no matter who they are or whether they know how to play rugby or not. We pride ourselves on our values and initiatives:
• Special needs teams
• Preschool rugby program - Little Dolphins
• Girls 7’s, and their pathway to state teams
• Youth Off the Streets youth teams – Thank you to the volunteers who provide transport from Macquarie fields for this to be possible.
With out 10th Anniversary in 2020 we are looking forward to a bright season ahead and hope that you will join us!
